History
Marcato has made home pasta machines in Italy for over 90 years.
Otello Marcato created the first rolling pasta machine in 1930. He was soon selling to his neighbors and nearby villages via his bicycle! The local operation quickly expanded and by 1938 the first Marcato factory was producing for high demand.
During the 1960s, Marcato began to ship pasta machines to the US.
In 1965, the Atlas name and product were born. The result of refinement spanning 35 years, it has become an Italian icon and staple across the globe.
Today, the high, proven quality of the Atlas pasta maker sees 2500 machines made and sold every day.
